Mike, I just picked up issue 2 today. I couldn't wait to get it. My 3 year old son was so excited to read it tonight. As always, amazing job, keep up the good work. And thanks again for putting something out there that kids and adults can enjoy together. My only question is when is #3 coming out? Looking forward to it already.
Tremendous stuff... my stepson loved the first issue and so did I. Now that I've finished reading the second one, I guess I'll pass it along to him instead of making him get his own :)
wonderful stuff sir. im a big fan of your work. recently i have been getting inot working online and was just wondering if you work digitally or do you draw it on paper first. cause it kinda looks like you work digitally but i could be wrong. either way keep up the good work. always look forward to your stuff.
Mike - thank you, thank you, thank you for your pursuit of excellence in your craft of artistry as well as producing wholesome comics that are truly "kid-friendly" - OUTSTANDING! Read our review of Mike's outstanding work, "Herobear and the Kid" at www.craborchardcomics.blogspot.com
Sadly, I missed the first issue, but I did pick up the second issue. Awesome stuff. Love the art work and the humor. Looking forward to the next issue.
Mr. Kunkel - we at Crab Orchard Comics have just reviewed issue #2 of Shazam and it is outstanding! In this review we look at the theological and religious themes that are brought out in this issue. These are great themes that you bring out - and you do it IN A COMIC BOOK! We think this is wonderful to help children think deeply - while they are having a great time enjoying your artistry! For our review of "The Magic (& Theology) of Shazam, issue #2 click on our website at www.craborchardcomics.blogspot.com Again thank you Mr. Kunkel for producing such great socially redeeming artwork for kids! May many, many artists follow in your footsteps here. Take care!
Mr.Kunkel, i JUST picked up issue#1 today...great stuff! I'm an illustrator/writer working on children's book, and i just wanted to say that i find your stuff (i have all the herobears, too...^_^) a huge influence and inspiration.
Thank you for what has quickly become one of my favorite comic book titles around. One question: haven't seen any solicitations for future issues after issue #3- do I need to worry?

Hey Mike-
Thank you for what has quickly become one of my favorite comic book titles around. One question: haven't seen any solicitations for future issues after issue #3- do I need to worry?
Thanks for your work.
